Love the changes to archaeology Got this beauty earlier this week. If you complete mop artifacts you can box them and trade them for other artifacts. Makes it easier to farm for those hard to get rares

havent posted in a while. guild fell apart (seems to be the theme of mop) and then i agonized about finding a new server and a new guild. long story short im on stormrage now and in a pretty decent 25 man.

I havent raided in a 25 man setting since ICC, in cata they made the 10 and 25 man share a lock out. Let me tell you it was an adjustment. Zomg so many lootz drop, and stacking a class/debuff/etc to cheese a mechanic makes things easier. However on fights like blade lord trying to find a place to stand while being spread out is a bitch.

because last night I fooled around on my holy pally for about an hour, finally got my priest to 90 and came to the conclusion that I wanted to drop my geared resto shaman in favor for leveling my pally and mistweaver monk (who is in the 30s). Kinda mad at myself for leveling my shaman in the first place. I did it for nostalgic reasons, shes was my first alt. However the opness and shear output a holy pally and mw monk can do with less mana just overshadows the appeal of a shaman. :/

So, after looking for a turtle I’d stick with for quite some time, I think I finally found one. The new dragon turtles being introduced in Patch 5.2. (Given we can still tame them come release.) I had Bloodtooth tamed for a while, but I never grew fond of him. Now, these new guys have probably my favourite colour scheme of all time: Silvery grey + glowing blue. (The only colour scheme that I like equally much being red & black.) I would prefer the blue leaned a little more to green, but I’m not complaining. Really. They’re gorgeous as they are!

I wanted to call him Quicksilver, but I got the error message “that name is reserved” so I picked Mercury instead. Turtles have a really good tank ability for soloing stuff, so I’m very excited!

OH SHIT SON! now that is an awesome looking pet! I have Bloodtooth but Id drop him in a minute for this turtle

My current gear score is 478. I still have quite a bit to do to get the best gear in the game right now.

I was talking to a fellow adventurer of mine and apparently, The Thunder King, expansion 5.2 is going to come with some new, more powerful gear!

The last I heard the new valor gear will be tied to rep you receive while killing trash and bosses inside TOT. Kinda like how firelands was when it first came out. So in theory you can farm the trash for rep (and possibly boe gear) up to a certain point, then you will have to kill bosses to get more. If its like firelands, there will be certain pieces tied to certain levels of rep. For example: at friendly you could buy a cloak, at honored a belt, etc

Ugh seriously Blizz why?? Dont get me wrong I love variety and different pet colors but porcupines are not at the top of my list of cool looking omg I have to have it pets. However I wills say Im glad they are branching out of the “all spirit beasts should be blue” mentality (yes i know Ban’thalos is green and Gondria is purple) :P

But I am excited about the new skins of devilsaurs, armored devilsaurs, and dragon turtles. Those look freaking sweet. Im on the fence about direhorns though. Ill have to look into how their shield mechanic works and if its any good for pvp

Mop has not been very kind to me. First my guild falls apart (asshole tank and an indifferent gm who decided to quit instead of deal with the issues). So I got into the top 10 man on our server running in their second group only to have this guild fall apart a few months later. >.< On top of it all my progression is no where near where Id like it to be. Hopefully we will be able to salvage the guild and the raid and continue on. At least thats what im hoping for.

Looking forward to 5.2 as a way to redeem my self, my skills as a hunter and to get back on top again
